NEW DELHI: Shares of infrastructure companies were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's afternoon session.
Shares of Suzlon Energy (up 4 per cent), IRB Infrastructure Developers (up 1.93 per cent), Siemens (up 1.93 per cent), Torrent Power (up 1.9 per cent), Vodafone Idea (up 1.67 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (up 1.6 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 1.27 per cent), GMR Infrastructure (up 0.84 per cent), NHPC (up 0.82 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (up 0.75 per cent), Container Corporation of India (up 0.45 per cent), Adani Ports - Special Economic Zone (up 0.22 per cent) and NCC (up 0.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Reliance Infrastructure (down 4.68 per cent), CG Power - Industrial Solutions (down 4.62 per cent), Reliance Power (down 3.85 per cent), NBCC (India) (down 2.17 per cent), NTPC (down 1.9 per cent), CESC (down 0.81 per cent), Bharti Infratel Ltd (down 0.79 per cent), Engineers India (down 0.58 per cent), Adani Power (down 0.32 per cent) and Larsen - Toubro (down 0.03 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 0.11 per cent up at 3336.3 around 12:01 pm.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 13.25 points at 12330.05 , while the BSE Sensex was down 26.06 points at 41,846.67.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, GMR Infra, SBI, Tata Motors, BEL, JSPL, SAIL, Federal Bank and Tata Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
