NEW DELHI: NBFC stocks were trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's afternoon session.
Shares of Magma Fincorp (up 5.00 per cent), Reliance Capital (up 4.96 per cent), Garnet International (up 4.91 per cent), Reliance Home (up 4.46 per cent), Alps Motor Finance Ltd (up 4.26 per cent), IIFL Wealth Management (up 3.51 per cent), PNB Housing Finance (up 3.29 per cent) and Muthoot Capital Services (up 3.17 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Centrum Capital (down 6.80 per cent), Akme Star Housing FInance (down 5.06 per cent), Finkurve Financial Services (down 4.97 per cent), Sahara Housing (down 4.68 per cent), SREI Infrastructure Finance (down 4.47 per cent), India Home Loan (down 4.14 per cent) and Ind Bank Housing (down 3.61 per cent) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 80.05 points down at 12282.25, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 287.24 points at 41665.39 at around 01:53 pm.
Hero MotoCorp (up 1.86 per cent), Titan Company Ltd (up 0.96 per cent), Bajaj Auto (up 0.67 per cent), Mahindra - Mahindra (up 0.62 per cent), Asian Paints (up 0.6 per cent), NTPC (up 0.57 per cent), Maruti Suzuki (up 0.43 per cent), Tata Steel (up 0.32 per cent) and HCL Technologies (up 0.23 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Sensex pack.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank (down 4.73 per cent), Infosys (down 1.5 per cent), HDFC (down 1.49 per cent), State Bank of India (down 1.24 per cent), ICICI Bank (down 1.23 per cent), HDFC Bank (down 1.14 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 0.95 per cent) and Tech Mahindra (down 0.8 per cent) were trading in the red.
